Yeah naming cars is kinda lame... but my junk has names too... the '58 Commander H/T is "Bad News" Lucille. My wife hates that car... Lucille will do the devil's work on her i'm sure... My friends call Lucille the "date **** special" too. When we first found the car it had a bottle of "unknown pills" from the '50's hidden in the drivers door, 50's booze bottles under the seat, and women's clothes from the 50's strewn about the trunk and some of the interior... clothes that a teen girl would've worn back in the day (pink high heels etc). Add that to the fact that the p***enger inside door handle came off in my hands when I tried to open it... well you do the math. Fun times were had by "one" of the occupants i'm sure... For some reason I picture the original owner as being a flashy dude who bought the car new off the showroom floor in it's original skirt chaser red and white two tone paint job. I know it was young guy because of the 1958 USAF ROTC manuals it had in it with his name on it. The car still has the original Tarleton University parking decal on the windshield too... The Willys pickup is Ol' Shaky named by my father. The clutch chatters when you put it into low, or reverse, and the right rear fender which is barely bolted on shakes like crazy. My '95 Ford work truck is simply known as "blue".
I name all my cars,my whole "WEIRD" family always did! White 64 2dr imperial "Spook" UGLY green 4dr 73 caddy "Loogie" like a hawker LOL RIP yellow 75 olds 98 "Ollie" RIP 68 dodge monaco wagon "BUD" Big Ugly Dodge RIP 78 dodge magnum "Maggot" 74 olds custom cruiser Wagon/w full 71 pontiac interior "Mutley" all 18 vega's but 1 "Veggie" the other was "lyle" (named before i bought) 79 LTD wagon i inherited from my grandmother Isabel "Izzy" and well the 56 sedan delivery "Rose" of course.

Not too original but I call my 48 chevy Frankinstien because it's made out of parts out of the graveyard,my 64 chevy truck was my dad's so the kid's call it Pa's Truck,my 4x4 is about 6 different colors so we call it Rainbow.
Oops! Hit the wrong key! I call it Ebabe because I originally bought it on Ebay and also because I bought it mainly for my girlfriend, whom I call "Babe".
the blue olds ,the maroon olds, grandmas car (a gold olds cutl*** was grandmas car), the truck = my gmc, and yer turd = my wifes driver (04 cav.), the race car = olds powered race car, the projects= everything else not running!!! I see a pattern here!!
The 52 Buick is "Raymond" after the original owner, he made me promise to keep the name so I did. The wife's 48 Ford I call LaBomba "she hates that name". The 49 Merc is named "Bink" after my wife's grandfather who was an old hot rod guy that died a couple years ago. The 50 Merc I just picked up is called "Quick and Dirty" cause I'm not spending a whole lot of effort to get it on the road, not because it's fast...
I've started calling my Merc the "Golden Cheyna" since I'm planning black with gold accents, and from what I can tell, I might be a gold chainer though I'm still unclear as to what one is.
I had a '64 Pontiac Grand Prix with "Asphalt Angel" on the rear quarters in Old English with a dropped shadow.......I loved it.........Centurion9
