Long primaries for top end power.

But the wind resistance negates any benefit.

With primaries that long it should tune at idle. I'm wondering what happens after that.

Muffler shop owner more concerned with showing off his abilities than how the car looks. The car probably got him a lot of work for a lot milder looking headers or exhaust systems in the day.

But one of my buddies always gets more excited on how "radical' something looks rather than it's total ecstatic value on the whole picture. Half the stuff he goes wild over just looks totally wrong and out of place to me.

I can't stand changing the spark plugs in my sbc with full length headers...I couldn't even imagine on this

  27. They probably didn't sound that good with the inevitable exhaust leaks at the flange with all that weight hanging off the block.

True story-------Maybe!- The owner never got to drive the car. His wife found him in the garage trapped while trying to change spark plugs and he starved to death.:D

That's when he realized his second mistake. He couldn't reach the horn.
