I've probably owned 5-10,000 different cars over the last thirty five years, oldest being a '27 Star, and newest being a '92 D-350 diesel.

This is cheating though, since the majority of these I brought into my wrecking yard, and were not drivable.

last time i tried to sit down and list them all on paper i was at 347 and counting.. that was probably 5 years ago .. so i would have to add at least 20 to 30 more since then..
thats 27 years worth for me..

one time the city fella came to the house and told me i couldn't have all these cars (i had 35 at the time), I asked how many I could have and he said there isn't a number but they have to all run, so I asked him which ones do you want a ride in? that was that, how many in my life, 100's I couldn't even count for a long time I'd turn and burn cars like crazy building up to what I really want, which I now have save for maybe 1 or 2 dreamcars

i'm at 18 vehicles now which includes 3 motorcycles, 2 motorhomes and a boat so I like to think I've really gotten focused

I honestly cant remember all of them,as I recall around age 30 I had counted around 100 cars, I am now 48 and still buying and selling.

I was in the auto repair biz for almost 30 years before selling it and I had the bright idea of getting a used dealers license, I drove all of them before selling to verify quality and drove so many varied cars that I would walk out of a store and forget what I was driving that day and have to look at my keys in my pocket to find the make and model...lol

I can't even tell you how many I own right now.

Just looked out the window and counted 5 in the driveway, ranging from 1949 to 2001. There are more out back and in the garage. Probably a dozen, somewhere around there.

First car I owned was a 48 Chev bought in 1964. After that things start to get fuzzy.

This is a picture of a wall in my basement and it has pictures of every car I've ever owned in my life. There's 75 on the wall but it doesn't include cars that I paid for and were "the wife's". There was probably another 20 of those (cars not wives) I'm 65 and bought my first car in 1965 for $125 - a 1955 Buick Century 2 dr hardtop

I traded my '92 Dakota long bed for a '92 D250 CTD, then went and dragged a '49 Dodge 1-ton out from the Panhandle to sit next to the '48 Dodge 1/2 ton I had been fixing up...Dad, always the accountant, says to me in an exasperated tone: "ya know ya only got one butt to put in them three trucks"
