So how many of you are heading to Austin?

Makes me nervous that he's "working" on the engine. He put one of the rockers in upside down "by mistake" on Sunday.

Actually, most of the fun is learning how to do this stuff with buddies and helpin' each other on our cars.

Can't recall my exact 60' times, but they were low 2's. They may go up because the gearing in the Muncie is not near as steep as the 3 ring Saginaw I'm taking out. But I'll be able to launch at higher revs with the stronger Muncie, so we'll see.

I'm still running the 3x2's and no Posi., so I don't expect stellar times. I'll just creep them down little by little as I tweak the car over time.

 

P.S. Even if I run 17's, the girls will still be takin' their dresses off at the Continental that night.

Think this through Denise. You got a club full of hot rodders gettin' all riled up by some girls that are up on stage and not goin' anywhere with any of them. I'd say the numbers game plays out pretty good in your favor.

Plus, last year there was a bunch of people outside the club bench racing during the show.
