So how many old cars do you have?

I just got to wondering here. This isn't a contest to see who has the most, but I just got to wondering how many cars the average guy has. So naturally dealers and shops don't count here. I know some people have one old car that takes all their time. Other's have two or three. Projects count as long as they resemble a car. No, that '32 hood orniment you have for the '32 you don't have yet doesn't count.

 

What's "OLD"...........?

Is 80s old?....70s..?............60s?

I have a 62 and a 51, that I consider old......my 83 motorhome is considered old to some people.

I have a 24x60 barn that is full, and 3 more in the shop, as Dave Lukari once said "I have to save them from the Hoarders"

Recently sold my 60 El Camino,. so now down to 5 "old" cars (by my definition pre-70), and 2 "newer" cars.

 

I forgot one, eleven.

 

I wasn't counting daily drivers, unless you drive your old car daily. I didn't want to name a year for the "old" cars. Someone might have an all original pride and joy Pacer X they want to count

 

One now, looking at getting #2 soon.

 

Two complete drivable pre '48's and a cowl, frame rails, engine/trans, banjo rear, front axle(s) wheels, lights etc. for another...so two and 7/12ths

 

one that goes (after the weekend it needs a water pump !!!) one that should if I got off my butt and a collection of parts for # 3.

 

I have more than I need , but not as many as I want.

I have 3 old cars and one newer....
1966 Fairlane ( daily driver )
1966 Falcon wagon ( soon to be the driver so I can restore the Fairlane )
1968 Ford Ranger long Bed with a 460
also a 1993 Mustang LX Hatch Drag Car 1/4 mile best 11.01 @123 mph....

 

Only counted the ones from '63 back, and then only the ones that run and drive.

Beginning of winter the 68 and 54 were running, driving, licensed. They were my winter projects and springs almost here. I'm getting ancy.

the rest are too new,too foreign,or just not "cool" enough to count!
