Today was great ... like everyday... see, I am ALIVE to tell about it.

Yes, Algore is still a fnckhead, half my savings went to another fnckhead on Wall Street I never met, the police came to my house today to say that I have to put plates on the cars in front of my garage (see attached), my roof leaks and my left knee is fncked.

Still, I have good friends, a wonderful wife, cold Schlitz in the breezeway and a good idea.

    So - - - thanks for axing.

I have been running my generator since last Thursday evening. Power might be back on today or tommorrow.
I lost 50% of my trees and blueberry bushes in this DA**ed ice storm but the roadster is safe anyway.

I have 20 inches of snow in my driveway and the high is 19 degrees. It's been snowing for 28 hours straight and the storm's not moving. Oh, and the high saturday is supposed to be 3.

Nah. I just wouldn't go outside. period.

Thin Texan blood. it means that I will resort to cannibalism if it involved negative temperatures and no food.

and I defer to the past...bout 5 or 6 years ago, Chicago had a record heat wave- it was over 100 for about a week in a row. people DIED.

record cold? Here in Austin, You would swear that we rolled up the sidewalks and left. (except for a couple of my weird *** buddies like DammitDave who would be wearing shorts and a sweatshirt. Or Bob Bleed, who would be wearing a speedo and a sweatshirt.)

Here is So Cal we had an inch of rain earlier in the week, so we are on "Storm Watch". Last night we had a few inches of snow so we'll probably want to call for FEMA ***istance. People back east must laugh at what wimps we are with a little change in the weather.

Here is an example of the m***ive storm damage some people had to endure...

We are waiting for an ice storm to hit here. 1/2 inch or more of ice is expected.

When I lived near the Big Tajunga basin, the Santa Anna winds blew my patio umbrella away. I found it a block and a half away in a neighbors drive way.
I had to endure 'watching' torrents of rain at time. When it rains there, it really does rain. The streets really fill up too.

Whent through a nasty one 2 years back. Our town lost power and lots of trees. Not fun at all. We're expecting to get something tonight as well.
