Awesome, all my CL leads are ****!! Nice find! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=587122
GREAT FIND! I usually only find rust buckets with nice original Lincoln Zephyr prices! Curious if it did come with out the fender skirts originally? Enjoy!
pretty cool you scored that one. i saw it a few weeks back and then couldn't find it again. figured it got snapped up the first day. i would of been all over it if i was shopping right now! very clean car!
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous car! Lucky? Perhaps, but luck arrives when preparation meets opportunity. I was commenting on a friends new Rare Hemi engine find, "how the hell do you find these things? You're always finding cool stuff..." Yep, he says, but I get out there, carry cash, and let everyone know I'm interested, always lookin', talkin to people, beatin' the bushes" What a great find, right place, 1 1/2 hour drive, right time, first one there, ready & prepared to make the deal...preparation met opportunity, and you've now got a spectacular ride... guess you're just lucky, eh? Enjoy that thing, it's pretty special! Sounds like it's in good hands, congrats! Eric
Very nice score! I'm happy for you and of course a little jealous.....ok very jealous! Good luck with it!
I'll bet any money that it will polish up nicely. I have seen more oxidized paint than that return to a respectable shine. Hope you enjoy that V12! .
OMG...what a beauty! Fortune doesn't come often, so when it does you gotta jump on it! What a sweet car.... Enjoy it!
Thanks for all the great comments, it is an awesome car. The knob is the turn signal, 41 was the first year for factory turn signals in those. The knob is huge, maybe somebody added it, I need to find another one to compare to.
