I own bikes, I love bikes, I would keep the car, keep the wife happy, and build my own bike if I wanted a bike.....besides, pretty much anything other than a full dresser sucks in the winter.......
that triumph is bad ass, but with kids and a wife its a no-brainer man you need to keep that olds! i really miss my old triumph, but its sure great cruising with my family.
Might as well keep the Olds, according to the date stamp on the picture, the bike won't be built till next month. But I do love the old Trumps.
and now that you have that wife and kid you know how it is .. i was thinking of getting the bike keep it for a month or so the try to trade it for an A thats what i really want .. i was just thinking about thanks guys its helping me keep to the side of keeping it
Far safer to cruise the Olds than a bike, in more ways than one. IMO, the Olds is way cooler than the Triumph. Plus anything English spends way more time broken down than running.
Unless she helped you build it or put money in it her opinion is on the floor with her undershorts. however................... My best friend was killed riding his motorcycle..he never had any problems with his 42 chevy falling over or not being seen...We all miss him and he didn't even have any kids or a wife.
Bike is very cool, Olds is outstanding and can cruz the family. As nice as the bike is, it is just a one person show, the Olds is a fun time that the wife can enjoy with you. I voted no on the trade. The sport sedan hardtop is really a sweet set up. Good Luck ~sololobo~
I cant believe this is even a question. You were offered that Triumph for a four door and you had to think about it? I would have said yes and grabbed the keys/title to the bike before the guy was able to get the whole word "trade" out of his mouth. As an added bounus you can go do stuff by yourself and not have to be bothered with taking your wife along.............its a win/win. I wish I had an extra old four-door, I'd have you give the guy my number.
Keep the olds and buy the triumph. Build a trailer and take every thing along including the wife.win-win!
did i missed the pics? i ride a harley and every time i get out on the road, some moron tries to kill me. a friend of mine in texass recently went down after an impatient driver quickly switched lanes. he broke both legs and his custom nightrain needs 'customizing'. if you have some savings in the bank and no healthcare, the hospital will sue you for everything that they can get their grubby hands on should you dump your bike. weigh this into the equation. it ain't a good deal if it costs you your life..... I'd do the trade.
I look at trades like this: If I trade a car for a bike....I'll have the garage space to get ANOTHER car! although if I had to pick, I like your olds better
after seeing the pics (they previously didn't load) i'd definitely take the bike. it has a greater dollar value and gets better gas mileage.
