So I have a 40 Hudson and I have a lot of questions. First doe's anyone have any pictures of a 40 Hudson coupe? Mine is missing everything in front of the fire wall and I would really like to see some frontal shots, there isn't much on the internet. Anyone know of a place where I can get replacement body parts? Doe's anyone know if body parts from 40 Fords or Chevy's will fit the Hudson? (Fenders, hood etc.) I'm looking for any reference photo's or diagrams of the front suspension. Any help will be great! Thanks!
Wish I could help. I have a 42. I have the same problems you do! I need front end pix and pieces and I need 2 rear fenders! Sorry I can't help, but I will let you know if anything comes up!
Welcome to the HAMB! I doubt that other brand sheetmetal will be a natural fit. Your best bet is to find/join the Hudson club- they should have a good bit of info on your year. There may also be a thread or two on 40 Hudsons here on the HAMB.

Thanks for the help guys! I was told by the fellow that I got the coupe from that it is a Terraplane Opera Coupe. I have no idea how the hell he knows that, but it sounds good! I only saw one picture of these when I google searched.

My buddy still hasn't scrapped the 40 and 41 4 door sedans he has. 800 takes them both....plenty of sheetmetal and doodads. PM me if you are interested.
