  1. [quote='51Plymouth]I'm proud of my low post count--it means I keep my mouth shut, read what's important, learn from it (not everything requires a reply), and then go work on something instead of sitting in front of the computer talking about how cool the cuffs in my jeans are (I'm lying--I don't have cuffs). You're leaving? So leave! PM the guys you like, give 'em your number and address, and go...everyone else either doesn't know or doesn't care. I wasn't going to bother posting here, until you talked down to us all with the "Fast race car that you guys wouldn't know about" bullshit--not all of us only own old rides. Many motorcycles in my past, as well as some BMW's and Porches...not to mention multiple circle track cars, 9-second Chevy Luv truck--the list goes on. Now I'll shut back up and lurk...hope to be an FNG for a while...1 year and counting!

    You said it!

Assuming you know more than everyone on the HAMB = BAD IDEA:mad:

What happened to mopar742000 bellytank boy just for him making me laugh my ass off I am not going anywhere. To the guy leaving I am sorry he feels that way but that is why there is liberals and conservatives and Ford and Chevys it is your choice. Oh by the way I have met Jesse James and he is just a regular builder like the rest of us.

Obviously you haven't been paying close enough attention. Chachi was ultra tough looking with the sleevless shirts, and Tony Banta was a rough but lovable New York Taxi driver and wannabe boxer. But there is no defense for the Crane. THERE IS NO DEFENSE FOR THE CRANE!!! Mr Miyagi said so. You can totally beat bad asses with one bad knee tide behind your back.

lets see, you're leaving the HAMB because of all the drama, doing so by posting a long dramatic post about how you don't like the drama. and that you are going to teach at Wyotech, and you know, there won't be any drama or stupid fucking new guys THERE. and you mention the 50 bones for the hamb alliance, and imply that it's buying your way into cool, again, you'll find NOBODY at Wyotech trying to BUY their way into the field!

you'll be missed about as much as scott baio.

  6. I've only been on here, well almost a year, and I think it's all good stuff. The "that looks bitchin" posts are an important part of this organization, just like the "you're an asshole" ones. Acknowledgment, that's all. Next time you are standing looking at a car with your buddies(old or young)listen and see if one of you buds says "that's cool" or "that looks like shit",then think about what you said about the short,non-informative posts. I don't "badmouth" fellow HAMBers. I help when I can and ignore when it's necessary. DON'T leave, take your ball and go home cause you can't be pitcher! Be an adult...ignore the un-important. If you have SOOOOOO much "race knowledge" share it,don't beat you're chest and expect us to bow down,AIN'T gonna happen. There's lots more knowledge on here than you'll ever have,COLLECTIVE knowledge!!!

PS-The $50 was to help the HAMB and give some payback to the loyal,NOT to "buy" you're way in to Club Cool!!!

Oh the drama, $50 to get rid of the FNG label? Give me a break, are you so insanely lazy AND self-conscious that you cannot handle having the FNG status? All people have to do is look at your registration date and post count and they know you are an FNG. And I have more news for you, you really do need alot more than 50 or so posts to get rid of the "stigma" of being an FNG. Some guys have done it in five posts, others, well they leave or get booted.

If the roundy-round guy leaves because his feelings are hurt then fuck him. Who needs a high maintenance bitch around here anyway? Nut up for crying out loud. If the price of having you around means we have to stroke your ego then don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out. I'm sure you are real popular at the track...uh-huh.

I've been on here for a few years. Basically, I bring nothing to the table. Not one thing. I suck at building cars, I can't paint worth a shit, I could fuck up a free lunch. I have knowledge about a few things relating to cars, which isn't anything compared to the knowledge most of the people on here have. I know HotRodLadyCruiser knows a lot about cars, and in her free time bakes a mean batch of cookies. I burn toast and I could actually fuck up making myself a bowl of cereal. I'm chubby because my girlfriend cooks. If she left me, I would have to live off the land, or McDonalds. There are tons of people on here who've been building and customizing cars decades before I was even born and they've forgotten more about cars than I will ever know. I'm not embarassed in the least bit to say publicly that I'm probably the last person you want working on your car. I can weld, and that's about it. I joined the HAMB because I heard it was a great place to learn, there's an overwhelming amount of talent on here and you can learn anything you want anytime you want it....or if it hasn't been posted, you will be answered shortly. That's what this place is all about. If you tell me you're the baddest hot rod builder, painter, customizer, fabricator, etc...I'm going to call you a liar. We have on here some of the best I've ever seen, and you know this by the posts they make, or the tech articles they contribute, and they're all modest about it.

If you joined this to learn, then do that, learn something. If you joined this to contribute one way or another, then do that too, contribute something. If you don't like catching shit every once in a while and you want to leave, then do that too. But do it quietly and like it was said before, PM who you want to keep in touch with. Just know this...if you don't like drama and you want to run away from it, you better go buy yourself an island somewhere in the middle of the ocean thats only populated by yourself, because I've never been anywhere that didn't have some form of drama. Thats life. And Scott Baio rules.

Scott Baio once bet NASA he could survive re-entry without a spacesuit. On July 19th, 1999, a naked Scott Baio re-entered the earth's atmosphere, streaking over 14 states and reaching a temperature of 3000 degrees. An embarrassed NASA publically claimed it was a meteor, and still owes him a beer.

    teamfr com,

:D Well said, there's a lot of mudslingers on the hamb and they get there kicks out of taking cheap shots at other hambers. Small minds seem to flock together. Good luck to you, hang around for a while longer the laughs are worth it, these guys seem to put there feet in there asses quit often. Scott Baio who? What a joke!

    Drama...

    Dont worry about JJ.

I've never met a Fabricator I didn't learn from, and I'm looking foreward to learning something from him when he does his first TECH Post.

As far as his Fan Club...
I dont really care what he does in front of a Camera, or who he is married to.
I dont think that has any relevance for the Board either...

Just let the guy be a HAMBer, if he chooses to be.

Fuck it... I think tonight might be a Whisky Night.
