Nope, the museum ( who put it on for a fundraiser) gave up on that last summer. They couldn't understand why the attendance kept dwindling even though they didn't advertise one little bit. Not even flyers sent to other area car shows....go figure.

The limited number of car guys in town are working on having one next summer though, I'll let you know.

Or, were you talking about the car ??? It's the same picture from before, like I said, who can tell when it's a picture of a primered car...to be honest, my shop is across town, and when I go over there to work, I rarely take a camera.

Pretty much shiny only, I put a fresh 327 in it last year. I do have a new set of ****** headers to install, and I picked up a World Cl*** borg warner T5 at an auction for $10....so, if the paint gets done early this winter, maybe the trans. swap will happen too.

I still need to do a little detailing under the hood too.....

Not to hijack your thread but ya did say orange didn't ya Abomb? Here's my buddy Willie's g***er as motivation. It is the real deal, came out of storage unit where it had been abandoned until Willie found it....

That's cool. I told my kid that we're going to call our car "the Great Pumpkin" when it's painted. Probably just paint a little something on the lower corner of the decklid though, it's not going to be a full blown "g***er" type car.

So, yes, I haven't really been here for awhile....The work on the car has been really slow too, but I have taken a few vacations in the last 3 years. Here's where I've finally gotten...
