That's a nice looking first effort. You kept the drop real smooth.

I have one almost just like this one I bought it form a guy in a model A club. I always snicker when I use it. Looks great to me!

I'm flipping back and forth between the two pics. Does the slide get adjusted down before the bend or does the axle get jacked up to it?

didnt want to start a new thread, i got around to measuring the axle.

chalk outline on the bench has the drops perfectly even.

but the reason i posted again, i mounted a set of spindles on the axle, and without adjusting the axle. there is 1.5 degrees of NEGATIVE camber on the left and 2 degrees negative on the right. from my days of playing with auto cross cars for friends that is a pretty optimum camber setting.

what is the stock model a camber angle?

Wish I knew for sure, but I'm betting it's to the positive side...probably a degree or so.......will be anxious to see when someone posts the number.

In any case, I admire what you have done here. Pretty impressive.

just found it. bias ply tires. 1-2 degrees postive and radial tires 0 degrees.

hmmm. i wonder if i will just f*ck it up trying to do it. maybe i will just have it aligned after the car is completed if i use this axle.

anybody ever actually measured the camber on a street driven rod?

Usually pretty close to 0 on most aftermarket axles.
