Well after about 60k miles in the van all over the country in the last year I finally had to hitch a ride with AAA again One of the cooler moments was when one of the guys who follows my travels on Facebook hopped on his bike to come hang out with me till AAA showed up....... So I had to get him to sign the van. The guys at Honest Charleys wher very helpful and even cleared a spot in the AC for me to make a mess I originally thought I had stripped a axle yoke, but after further inspection I think it was a little worse lol I carry a spare axle but the flange was bent on it, but found a amazing place called Hudlows that is truing the axle and trying to make a bearing work on it So if all goes well I will be back on the road today heading to Knoxville then up to the Relix show in Michigan
I'm thinking you have exceded the HP and torque design, is that a super charged big block? Yikes! Looks like you're in Good Hands
If you drive 'em enough they're gonna break sooner or later. Those guys at Honest Charley's are indeed a class act... Happy trails!
Sorry to hear about this, but you've got it handled. It's good to know you have a great network to have your back.
Wow, that thing must be a torque-monster! Time to go for an upgrade. Summers Brothers make axles for the Greenbriar???
That's what happens when you don't go to bonneville. I' just sayin'. Once it's all fixed up, you can start a new streak.
Great to see that you are in the "fix" mode It's also nice to see that the "Honest" group are real folks to help you out See ya back in Texas, sometime
