I got my old intake swapped for a new Edelbrock with Vintage Speed adapter and 2x 94's. I also got my dash fully mounted and my steering box fully anchored to the cowl. Good Progress. Gotta work on the headers soon and weld on the flange for the glass packs. Soon...

Tore apart our dragster to do a quick clean up for the Long Beach Motorama.

New paint on the chassis this week, and some work on the flathead to make it go faster!

Semi productive....Fabbed some stanchion mounts and chopped the stanchions and windshield frame. And started fitting the trunk lid....oh ya, and Chip (HAMBer, got louvers?) louvered up my hood and hood sides...woo hoo!! Cant wait to see them back from Phoenix.

A.Tribute- that coupster is looking good man. Adding roadster stachions is the trick to making them look so much better!

Buffed and waxed 2 semi tractors for the $ to buy some killer shocks from Elploacko......I did drive my '61 to work.

  12. I took the roof off my A, and took it around to 57mad's house to cut out some rust. :)
57mad did most of the work, and we've still got a little more work to finish.:D

I worked all weekend, but thursday friday (my weekend) I spent about twelve hours taking apart my truck. I managed to get the grill and fender off.

I realized that fomoco designed a bolt that could rust enough to not actually function correctly, but still retain enough metal integrity to resist sawzalls, drill bits, pliers, etc.
The main ingredient of the bolts on this truck is hate.
But on the positive side, I will have forearms like popeye when I am done.

  17. Trashed my engine doing some testing before going out night-racing Friday ,damned slushbox didn't shift as and when it should,over-revved the engine and voila;as a letter in the mail:bang,bang,bang...Life is not that good right now,but I will have to qoute Arnold S:I'll be back...

Got the Stromberg 97s that I rebuilt last week back on the flatty and reworked all of the dual carb linkage. The cabriolet has never started or ran any better! A big thanks to Uncle Max for parts and his excellent advice.

  19. Yesturday we got an engine out and in an old roadster. Still gotta tighten a couple of bolts and do some minor exhaust work, then she is back on the road.

  20. Worked on my '31 Model A coupe, upholstered the door panels, and made/installed the dashboard.

I took the master cylinder off of the '52 Oldsmobile , thought it needed rebuilt , after I got it off , I found out that it had been replaced at one time or another , it was a Wagner Lockheed , number 4950 , I took it apart and , best I can tell , it was just stuck , cleaned all the parts , honed it out , put it back together , and it works , good for me , didn't want to spend $140.00 on a new cylinder....:D

Flew to St. Louis to see my girl (I'm at the airport now) and looks like me moving to Southern Illinois is better for us than her moving to NJ. So now I gotta find a shop near Mascoutah, IL and figure out how I'm getting at least 6 cars and all my stuff out here.

Changed the break in oil, and bent the gas peddle so my foot doesn't fall asleep.
