Okay, here are some pictures of a bunch of trading cards/stickers I picked up as a kid at a garage sale nearly ten years ago. I think I paid 50 cents for the whole stack. Found them while packing up the apartment and maybe someone on here knows what they are and if they're worth anything. Sadly it seems like the bulk of them are 60s/70s muscle but there are a couple odd hot rod ones. -Taylor
Naw, they're not really taking up any room. Just figured that the hot rod crowd could ID them for me. -Taylor
Dont know what they are worth. But just looking at them brings back memories. I used to have a bunch of those when I was a kid. I especially remember that "Javelin" card; I think it was my favorite back then.
Any idea who the artist is? How would someone normally get them back then? Were they like baseball cards and stuff? -Taylor
Yes, bubble gum pack's.You got 3 card's and some 'mcnasty' pink chew, covered in white chalky stuff. So loaded with sugar, you'd spaz like Bevis! Called 'Odd Rod's". Forgot who made them. The artist's may have been former Roth employee's Stanley Mouse,or Robert William's. Nice score,Dude!
Neat. Well, tell y'all what...let me go through them because I know there are some doubles and I'll offer some up to whoever wants them. -Taylor
hey Slammed, not to hyjack the post but I think thats the same awful gum we were chewing in the '50's when I was growing up, some things never change 'cept they were baseball cards.
