My garage landlord gave me a cool old Quaker State sign, and I got an extra belt for my truck so my girl feels safe riding right next to me.

I got some $400 in cash, 9 back issues of TRJ, a leather jacket (matching design to WWII flyer jackets) and a toolbox with a bunch of your basic tools for automotive work!

So, I'm as happy as I can be!

Congrats on the new house, thats cool.

The bestest gift of all this year was being "told" on Christmas Eve my 14 year old nephew got into a very prestigious private 4 year high school called Catholic Central. My sister was informed a couple of days ago that he was accepted so she went to the high school and purchased t-shirts for the whole family. On Christmas Eve nite she passed out gift bags to each member of the family and she had us open them all at the same time. There were tears, hugs, pats on the back and high fives all around.

Might not sound like much but he had to take a very hard entrance exam to get in and the whole family was sweating the results. He wants to attend the University of Michigan for college and this is a great first step. It was a very Merry Christmas for the Sheldon family.

I also got a stainless steel cocktail shaker:D , a drill bit set and file set (I needed both badly), an offset racheting box end wrench set, a cord reel work light, new computer chair, an Epson wide format printer, Don Montgomery's Old Hot Rod Scrapbook, gold earrings, a woodie wagon with surf boards on top resin model, some girlie lotions and potions, a Scrapbook Zone gift certificate, 100 mg Viagra:rolleyes: tablets as a joke from my Doctor cousin, a snowman shaped serving piece, and various nuts and gift baskets type hostess gifts.

Yeah, I was a good girl so Santa was very generous this year.;)

Additional Christmas story.............Christmas morning (noonish:D ) my family is back over my place sitting around the living room opening presents and eating brunch. I have a large floor to ceiling picture window in the living room that faces the street and the blinds are open. Low and behold up pulls the postman in his little truck. We all look at each other and state "Christmas morning!??" Postman gets out of his mailtruck and starts walking up the front walk with a priority package under his arm. I open the door, exchange Christmas greetings with him and get my "special" Christmas delivery package. There was no calendar inside just this very special piece of cardboard from Big Tony.:D I guess he didn't want me to feel left out since I didn't get a special piece of cardboard from a GMB. Thanks sweetie, I'll treasure it always ;)

Merry Christmas and a very prosperous and Happy New Year to all.

    Hank Williams Gold (42 hits)
The Essential Flatt & Scruggs (36)
    Vintage Essential Bluegrass (40)

A new pair of overalls and a pouch of my favorite chew.

The best of all was getting to see my daughter experience her first Christmas at 11 mo old.

  17. i awoke this morning to my wifes 1 year old vw jetta's brake lights stuck on (easy fix just the peddle switch)
a puddle of oil under my ranger ( power steering hose, no big deal)
suv that is not sure if its in 4x4 or 2 wheel ( transfer case switch, again not a big deal)

so i was the coolest guy at church with my 41 olds coupe with a little devil painted on the trunklid

    i love my old iron

    Damn. You are loved.

I'm familiar with Catholic Central. They seem to dominate football down there. That's quite an accomplishment.

I ended up with a gift card, a new BBQ Grill, a Miller Lite hat and a Nacho Libre DVD. That and two extremely happy little boys.

All that shit doesn't matter too much, cause like jusjunk said, being around on this Christmas is good enough!
