    Titty bar Friday night.

Headache Sat. morning, so I went over to scrape 25 years' worth of goo from the bottom of the AMX. The old gas I was using as a degreaser wasn't helping the headache much.

Came home, finished mocking up the rearend of the modified. Hammer on steel didn't help the headache much.

Did my taxes today. Inexplicably, headache leaves.

Spent Sunday helping my brother with his '28 Jacobs project. He was working on the tailgate and taillights ('39 Ford) and I was doing the wiring. A lot more to this wiring than I thought. Progress is slow but its progress nonetheless. Will be going back out there next Saturday (its 100 mile drive, one way) to do some more.

Would have gotten more done but a birthday party for my brother and his son interrupted the work.

I finaly got off my butt and yanked the stock rear axle/torque tube off the '46 Chevy 1/2T, got it cut up and ready to haul away. Even cleaned up the shop and put my tools away. Had my birthday party (59th :( ), saw the grandkids and shoveled snow off the driveway. All-in-all, a great weekend !!

    Jay,
That looks great!! Looks like you live in a cool place too. Love that barn. Hey, How about a picture of that strap you made to hang the wishbone from. Looks like something I could copy for my latest. The wishbone hanger went away when I removed the Ford trans mount in favor of the T5. I'll even take a shot of that rear wishbone mount. You're really making some great progress. Keep it up.

Finally got around to finishing my Parkerizing tanks. Have had the stainless park tank done for awhile but the sheet metal shop broke my wash and pre-heat tanks the wrong size. Mark came over and after we finished welding up the Lincoln intake we cut and re-broke the two tanks and welded them up. Tried them out today on an old rifle I had and they worked great.

Slag,You almost make it sound like I was banging out the job and you were giving me a hand. Let the truth be told,I am coffee bitch!!! I owe this creep 2 cans of 1 shot worth of striping and for those who dont know, thats alot. I have stripped myself naked with a drill before!!!No Shit!!! The reason everyone encouraged me to start striping at such a young age was because they didnt think I could lose an arm with a striping brush!!

After months of non-work starting to finish work on my chop. Start reattaching door tops and cutting out roof overlap and buttweld. This car will never be finished. I'm too lazy and easily distracted. -stick

Upchuck, was that train wreck seriously your doing? How does such a thing happen?

I ran armored cable and conduit and hooked up a 240v electrical line for my new 60-gallon air compressor. I've never run an entirely new circuit before, so I'm pretty pleased with the result. :)

Next up, I'll be running air lines around the garage to take full advantage of the compressor.
