As many here on the Hamb know, The guys here at Strange Days were building a belly tank lakester to take to Bonneville and try to run 200 mph. We worked five years on and off on the car and had it close to finished, even fired it up. After determining that we were in no position at the time to take to car to the salt it was put up for sale. A couple of great guys from Texas ended up buying the car last year. Don and Karl spent the last year tweaking the car to fit thir size and upgrading some of the controlls and since Speedweek was rained out they took it to World of Speed this past month. Here is a link to the tweak diary that the guys posted over at the LSR board: http://www.landracing.com/forum/index.php/topic,13291.0.html The guys ran the car eight times with no problems and both got their liscence with Karl doing a top exit speed of 209mph on the last run, apparently also spinning the car in the process ( don't worry no injuries to the car or him) Here is a link to some pictures they posted of their time on the salt http://www.landracing.com/forum/index.php/topic,14391.msg261676.html#msg261676
