well dam good driving anyways he kept it on all 4's..and werent those the flip over 4x4's?
glad to know he came out of it alive.
another reason why , when I pass a semi..I friggen pass them..some people (not saying this is what he was doing)
they sit right on them and never get around them..
I cant say how many times Ive passed a semi on my motorcycle wondering if it was going to be the time the truck tire decides to have tread seperation or not..thats why i get away from them as quick as possible.

  3. well i work at a place with a lot of beds so maybe i can work something out:cool:

I learned that you can find the size of a radio wave length by dividing the speed of sound (3.00 x 10-"to the eighth power" m/s) by the given frequency given in hertz.

Yep this is one of the flip overs. I know how he drives so he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. He don't like to follow or get passed.

I learned that hardeners for auto paint are really nasty stuff, about 1000x more toxic than regular thinner-to get MSDS sheets on all the stuff you're going to spray ahead of time, and read it all- that companies intentionally mislable their products to protect sales/market share, and often don't tell you just how toxic a product is, otherwise no one would buy it- that urethane paint has killed and maimed and hurt thousands of painters since it was invented in the 1930's by the Germans- and don't spray urethanes without supplied air respirator and a professional spray booth and protective suit- charcoal respirators/painting outside/breaking job into small tasks doesn't work and is still dangerous as hell, and even though that's what 3M said would work, I still ended up in the ER getting breathing treatments- that Eastwood put 1 hour max with charcoal respirator on the MSDS sheets, but not on the can- and you don't get the MSDS sheets with the paint- gee, wonder why ?-- and in the long run, using a standard lacquer or SE/AE enamel paint with no hardeners is way better, because the few extra years of holdout/UV protection from urethane, isn't worth the health/toxic dangers of handling it- the auto paint industry has a golden goose with urethane, and they are marketing it heavily without the proper safety precautions- at one time the paint was $400/gallon, now it's $80/gallon and they are flooding the market with it- but it's as dangerous as uranium, and they aren't telling us that

I learned that if you have an input shaft bearing ticking in your transmission for 2 yrs, you better have a replacement tranny lined up. Or just fix the damn bearing.

I later learned that bearing races don't travel through transmission gears very well. Last friday night was a lot of fun.

That when you drop a part it will always land greased side down and in the only dirt to be found for a 20 foot radius.

And, if it's dropped near a car it will roll or bounce underneath to the exact center, instead of close to one side or the other:rolleyes:

I have learned a few things....
    1) Never let your father use a splitting fork to separate your a-arm from your ball joint, while using a hammer. (He scraped off paint with one miscalculation, and I swear the neighborhood heard what i yelled 3 blocks away)
    2) If your father drives like "Mr toads wild ride", Maybe its not best to let him back your 20ft car out of the garage next to a brick planter.
    And
    3) If you still have springs on your garage, and they look like they're going bad - they probably are. And they will fly across the garage. Trust me.

I was sitting in my room watching tv, and my father came in to tell me that a spring on the garage had broken in half, and flew across the garage (which my tbird happened to be in). I got lucky because it didnt take out any windows, but it did take off paint on my left side! I think I almost had a heart attack when he told me, and I said "I hope you're joking"....boy I was pissed.

    Well, you live you learn

    xoxo

I learned I need to pay more attention in here. I went to that online auction place to sell my 67 Mustang, and almost had a stroke when I discovered they wanted $125 to SELL my car...I didn't get to the OTHER fees, before I deleted my ad..BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!

I also learned that I won't do business with people I work (serve) with, and if I do, I will take money first when they say they want the car, and that I will not take their word for it for 30 days, then, all of a sudden, they quit answering my calls, or returning emails regarding the transaction....Ok, enough of my ranting...

I learned that I shouldn't use PVC glue to make a rack for windshields while trying to glue it up in the storage room where it will go. Fumes + No ventilation = one bad headache!
I still have to get more foam to put over the tubes.

I learned that ten minutes isn't long enough of a wait to open my radiator cap after my truck overheats. I also learned that steam, and antifreeze can really open up the pores!

  21. I learned that it's a total waste of time to read stupid threads like "What's better a 327 or a 350" - no useful information when questions are asked without any background.

  22. I didn't learn this today but it still holds true today. If you are going to lose a tool 90% of the time it will be a 7/16" socket or wrench. I think they have legs.

Most things that are "good" are actually bad for you. WD-40 makes an excellent hand cleaner, but will give you cancer. :(

Incidentally, so does brake/electrical parts cleaner.

  24.:eek::eek:! jason as a cancer survivor of 16 years "those" products can contribute to getting cancer but STRESS and POOR DIET are a way easier way to get it!. ask me how i know!;)

  26. I learned that my 24'X30' Garage is only 5' deep inside the door. At least according to my family when they put something in it when I am not around. Also that I got two bags of trash out of it, but no one knows how it got in there.

Hey - I have both of those down pat! ;)

Actually, I stopped using those on my hands to get the grease/super glue/tar off years ago. I was about 20, and this old guy that ran the local lawnmower store was at the counter while I was in buying a head gasket. He had some nasty looking black marks on his forearms - like bruises, only darker. I blew it off, and went on my way.

Towards the end of that summer, I was in again for some reason, and the old man was gone. When I inquired about him (he was one of those old timers that knew where EVERYTHING in there was), they told me he was dead - skin cancer got him.

Ever since that day, I'd imagined all the stuff that old guy must've gotten on his hands and arms over the years - he had to be in his 70s, and had been doing this kind of work all his life. After that day, I was made hyper-aware of the chemicals on/around me, and did my best to limit my exposure.

That image really stuck with me... scared me straight, man.

I've learned that when banging three hookers at the same time, inevitably one of them will flake out and get jealous and try to stab u with a knife and then steal your cell phone.
