My daughter and I were there on the salt from Monday morning through Wednesday morning. We stayed at the Peppermill and visited the and looked at the cars outside of The Nugget on Monday night. We left Dallas Saturday afternoon and got back last night. Lot's of driving! All I can say is that I have never met more friendly people in my entire life! Well, except for when I said "hello" to Jim Dunn at the buffet... He wasn't un-friendly, but I should not have bothered him. But, hey! There he was sitting directly behind me! I had to acknowledge him. I saw many great cars, met a lot of cool guys and was able to experience true hot-rodding history. I'll go again. Hell! I even scored a Bean Bandits t-shirt and was able to buy it from the Bean Bandit's themselves!
