or even better yet we could just use engine simulation software and put what we want on our virtual engines then computer would tell us whos was bigger!

Watching that would be just as bad as watching that crazy drag race class, I think it is "super gas". How corny, throttle stops and electronics!

Haha ha, that's what I was thinking.

Build a car go fast enjoy your own perspective. Leave the Dyno to guys who gotta know. It's more fun to see how it does in a car. Unless you actually put it in a car and drive it it's alot like Masturbation.

When me and my buddies road raced our cars there were guys that would have their cars dyno'd after almost ever race.

And they'd tell us about the fantastically high HP numbers they'd seen on the dyno.

They'd usually break after a couple of laps, and even if they didnt, they had killed all the torque that engine needed to make to get out of a corner quick.

We called those guys Dyno Racers...

So basically you pay some engine builder a bunch of money to build you an engine, pick it up when its done, drive to some dyno somewhere and have somebody else dyno it, then stand around with all the other goobers and talk about what badasses you are? Well, I can barely contain myself, the excitement is just freakin overwhealming.

I have dynoed a couple motors in the past, it can be a useful tuning tool, but thats all it is, is a tool. The goal is to accelerate a mass with wheels on it down a race track. Thats the whole reason for making power in the first place.

you know what would be another awesome sport, watching paint dry!

  13. its already big over here, they do it at all the big street machine events (on chassis dyno's that is). personally i dont see the big attraction except watchin the big wog boy with a zillion gold chains around his neck reduced to tears when his billionty dollar engine lunches itself at full noise.:D
