had some cash and was heading to go buy a couch, left early so we could stop at a swap meet along the way. saw a nash metropolitan that she really liked and was the same amount as the couch budget. she wanted the car instead. i had to talk her out of it.

When she helps me change out the gas tank-
Insists I get the ginormous tool box that's on sale (while the fridge is acting up)-
Goes with me to all the shows we can-
Walks all over "Moultrie" with me, even though her hip hurts (and never complains)
Yep, I know I got the right one.

She hangs out in the garage with me, gives me time to do whatever I want, goes to every show with me, lets me sit on here all of the time, the list goes on.

I couldn't imagine what a pain in my *** it would be, if my wife didn't support me in the old car hobby (of course that was determined long before we actually married). By the way, it isn't wives appreciation day, and I need to get flowers and a card, is it?..let me know asap, thanx.

.........she gives you $800 out of her savings account to pay off a car. So you can trade it for another one. This was 30 years ago before we were even married! Just dating. KEEPER!

When you have been married 50 years and you wake up feeling like you did on your wedding night!

She gave me four children, cooked, cleaned, washed, chased parts, hauled and sat up with all our family during hospital stays.

She was and is my best friend, even when I may not have deserved it.

If I was getting married again, It would be with the same girl!

My wife helped rebuild the engine on the 51 Willys, she cooks my meals, washes my clothes and all the rest of what she thinks a woman is supposed to do.She even likes ***! She likes old trucks and would rather see tractor stuck in the mud than go shopping. In return I always do my share and don't act like an ***hole too often :D And she's better looking than I am!!

When she loads you into the back of your wheelchair accessible 54 panel, drives you anywhere you Wanna go at 70 mph , and can't resist beating the ricers off the line at stop lights. Oh yeah, and the big ****s are good too

My wife uses the give and take system. When I wanted to start my 2'nd project, a Av8 pickup, she said she needed the family room and the half bath remodeled before I started. I said yes dear. She got her way and I got mine. Thats what marriage is. I love her dearly.

My wife isn't into cars but has always supported my interest. She'll even drop everything when I need a hand in the garage. 10 years into it and I'd choose her again every time.

When she's the only one in high school (including the guys) that can drive your '29Av8 and pull the left front tire while doing the 1-2 shift. I've got a picture of her doing that somewhere around here but haven't seen if since we moved into the new house. That and never loosing a street race with her 427 Camaro just makes her that much more special.
Along with that she's an imaculate house keeper and gave me two very neat kids that have excelled in their fields of study. Keeper just barely scratches the surface. I'm a blessed man.

She "lent" me $150 to buy a 32 5W, that was 1969 and the coupe cost $300. Many years later we were going to Rhinebeck and I said " follow me in the station wagon in case we get stuck" Screw that she says ....I'm ridin' in the coupe with you ....If we break down ...that's life. Rich @ the Ealy V8 Garage says she's the only gal to order her Old Man a 32 brake kit. Knew her since she was 5 and I was 6, we were married 36 years. Lost her in July 2006.

  30. I was building an O/T car I started while in my 2nd marriage and I finished it with my current wife, Sandy, and she likes it....and then she finds me my current project A bone coupe which her sister had and she helps me buy it...and now she kicks me in the **** when I feel like couch crashing...and gives me encouragement to get it done. She wants to cruise with me in it this summer and beyond....she's a keeper!
