    SOLD 1941 Ford 'Woodie” Station Wagon, PRICE REDUCED TO $6000.00 - Complete rolling chassis less engine. Includes radiator, transmission, rear end. Approximately 50% good wood including all special moldings & window moldings. Roof missing but front end of roof slats are in place for patterns and spacing. Roof/windshield header, side rails, and rear header are in place but need some repair work. All side window glass is original with correct Ford script markings, one side glass is cracked but good for pattern. One windshield glass missing the other is a replacement but good and can be used for a pattern. Front door glass are both good including regulators and handles. Vent windows are good and operable with correct, good latches. Rear sliding windows have all wood retainer strips, slide handles and locking hardware. All body mounting brackets and hardware included. All door hinges and hardware included except one rear door latch. All outside handles included. Upper and lower tail gates are complete with all hardware including hinges, supports, spare tire mount and spare tire face plate. Center and rear floors are solid and straight. Front floor has some rust in the area in front of the seat, toe board is BAD. There is a factory accessory heater mounted in the floor under the drivers seat. Lower wood pieces are in need of replacement but all of the original pieces are included and good for patterns. Plywood panels need to be replaced but originals are solid and good for patterns. Wooden frame is Maple, panels are Birch. There are no rear seats. Many 1941 Station Wagons were delivered to the Government and used by the National Park Service, Department of the Interior, and the Armed Services. Many of these Gov't vehicles were delivered without rear seats or they were removed and discarded to carry cargo or surveying equipment.



    Included with the car are: Two used, easily repairable front fenders, two used fair running boards, five original 1941 wheels with 6.50 x 16” tires, several original hub caps, some additional wood pieces, and all four road tires hold air for easy moving. Rear fenders are not included.



    The car has a CLEAN / CLEAR title which must be transferred properly to the buyer at the time of sale. NO TITLE JUMPING! It is located in York, PA . Interested parties email Don at dewx21@comcast.net

    UPDATE: I have found a shop in South Central PA that is well versed on Wooden Wagon restoration. They are recommended by members of the National Woodie Club and have a wealth of experience, having worked on Ford Wagons for many years.
