    City: Sheldahl

    State: Iowa
    Price: 9,500
    1949 Chevrolet Business Coupe.
Solid body including rockers and mounts, has new EMS front floor patches, new steel gas tank. 70’s IMRON black paint, Heidt’s tubular front suspension, ’80 Granada discs, ’88 GM calipers, ‘82-88 Thunderbird power rack (GM pump), new pedal and manual dual master cylinder. 70’s Nova rear, new driveshaft, new rear shocks, rear shackles.
1965 283 #TO421GF, with Edelbrock Air Gap Performer, 500cfm Thunder carb, HEI, new oil pump, shaft, pan, block-hugger headers. 700R4 trans with deep pan, trans cooler, removable trans crossmember. Runs well, but burns and leaks oil, needs a rebuild for long-term. (driven over 8,000 miles so far in the last year and half, but not out during winter) This ain't no steenkin rat rod.
Diamond Back extra-wide whitewalls on repop rally wheels, (new caps, rings in boxes).
Leather bucket seats (power driver’s), ’49 Chevy back seat with new upholstery.
New ACC carpet, new floor jute, new Natl Chevy headliner and windlace new, not installed.
New VDO gauges & dash panels, Keep-It-Clean wiring kit (mostly done, some not finished), Newport electric wipers, GM tilt column. New battery.

Also many extra parts including new body rubber pieces and engine parts:
    ported PowerPack heads,
    new gaskets, rings,
Edelbrock cam & kit and more. Mucho $$$$ worth!
Fun driver, little is needed to finish and make it your own.
    $9,500 cash only
(and NO, you cannot send a cashiers check for the car and transport fees, to be forwarded.) but SOON (planning on doing engine rebuild, headliner install, which means increased price). I may go to TorqFest, Springfield, if I can get in. (wheels... year...)
Would consider selling for $8,000 less engine/trans and parts. Or I could keep the wheels/tires, deduct $12 _49fstDrive1004- 007.jpg _49engPNT.JPG 00. Please send PM with contact info. I am not on net at home, and poor phone reception, so be patient for reply.

Still thinking I should sell this one, but driving it again. Well over 9k miles so far.
I may start doing more work, too, so price adjusts accordingly. See my other ads for Henry J, '59 Vette race car body, '37 Chevy P/M coupe body, S10 ch***is... yah, got stuff.

Never mind. I am going to do some changes, maybe work on brakes to firewall, engine work, how about flame paint job?
Might be for sale again later, new price will be determined as work is done. Go buy my other car projects. I'll need the money.

    Buy my other stuff now!
Need to keep fixin' this '49 and move on to the Henry J or '29 Ply soon...
whataya think, folks, flames for the '49? hood, fenders, doors... roof and trunk?
NOT as much as that 53-4 Plymouth at B2-50s, but needs more at***ude than just black.
Get my new 283 this afternoon, next need to freshen a 700R, but better wait until after Lincoln and DsM GG. Don't wanna get caught mid-flog, eh.
Make the '49 a better beater.
Needs a new bumper sticker (or one-shot painted on rear lid with a toon?)
    TANSRR:
This ain't no steenkin rat rod!
