Decided to get rid of one of the cars sitting in the shop to make some room and use the money to focus on getting a couple kids projects done. Anyway, I bought this car a couple years ago now and really haven't done alot with it. I did spend a little time messing with it earlier this year trying to get it reliable enough that I might put one of my 16 year old's in it until we finished his 51 Chevy pu. However, he is about too tall for this car, so I had a change of plans. It is a 4 speed car and seems to drive and shift pretty well overall. I haven't put more than maybe a couple hundred miles on it so am sure there are still bugs to find and get worked out. The car has had what I will call a pretty amatuer cosmetic "restoration" right before I got it. It has a paint job that looks decent overall, but has lots of flaws. It has brand new carpet, and the doorpads and other interior panels have been recovered, and it has a new top. All the glass is good and all the trim, bumpers, etc. are definitely only driver quality. When I was looking to make it a driver for my son, I put two new tires on the front, but the rears are older. I have the full wire wheelcovers as well as some real nice dog dish hubcaps that will go with it. The seats are late model and something I was in the process of changing. I have a couple sets of front buckets that will go with it as well. All the brakes and fuel system have been gone through before I got it. When I got it going, I found that the pushrod tubes were leaking pretty bad, so I bought the seals. I haven't installed them yet, but likely could if that helped in a sale. I might consider possible trades, but they would need to be straight across or worth less and not be a project. I have too many projects already but might consider a decent driver car for one of my kids. I'll try to get some more pics taken and loaded soon including the interior, etc., but thought I might throw it out here just in case someone was looking for an inexpensive, fun, and easy project for a driver for the summer. Ok, so really need to get rid of this thing and willing to take a loss at this point (which really hurts by the way)... How about $4500 OBO? Or, I would likely consider partial trades even for parts, etc. I just am not excited about this and would rather spend my time on something else right now.
