Sold SOLD thanks JJ Vintage Buick 90 FIN ALUMINUM FRONT BRAKE DRUM HUB Original These are non riveted hubs and should pop out, as the rivets were dropped after 1970, if my research is correct. This 90 fin drum was Buick issue for years after 1965 Some report the big brakes are the same for all large Buicks 1957 - 1970? Buick Models using finned include the Electra, LeSabre, Wildcat, Invicta, and RIVIERA using 12 x 2 and 1/4 brakes, but not the Regal. I am looking for the Part Number cast on these but don't see it. There seems to be a mark like CFD-12 on the outside I think these are standard Buick issue, but am unaware if there are specific models. Do your research on these, I found these in a mechanic racer custom car guys estate. Buick brake drums were 12.00" wide inside, 15.5" outside, 90-finned, aluminum drums, and are used and sought after for a mul***ude of custom brake conversions. Often used in hot rod applications for style and they are desirable because A) 12", which means more surface contact, ie stopping power, B) aluminum, lightweight and fast cooling and look awesome polished, and C) finned, again for quicker cooling. The outer bearing race bore is appx 1.96 dia and the inner bore appx 2.55" I have an ammco drum gage that shows these are 12.00 " diameter inside which is the standard inside diameter. I think they are not turned larger in diameter. There is only a slight ridge inside right now. The center spindle hub is around 6.5 diameter inside. The inside brake face width is near 2.4 to 2.5 wide The inside depth from the hub face, to fin edge is 4.0 deep The inside depth from the hub face, to drum edge is 3.2 deep Bolt spread 5 on 5.0 bolt circle Should fit all these below, but you should verify, I am not the expert on Buick drums. Research on the 90 fins drum say they are pn 1381932 90 Fin drums are technically correct for `67 through `70 models due to the number of fins, but according to the parts book will retrofit back to the `65 and `66 models. Another online seller reports this: These drums are technically correct for `67 through `70 models due to the number of fins but according to the parts book will retrofit back to the `65 and `66 models. I would expect these to retrofit even earlier (perhaps with some minor machining) but the parts books show a different part number for `64 and earlier models. Dimensions in inches 15.5 diameter and 6.1 overall wide weight 24 pounds each
