1929 coupe has been modified just like they would have in the 1940-50s. We used all original parts on this build to keep it as period correct as we could. It’s running a Ford Model A 4 cylinder banger with high compression police head, B distributor, dual updraft carburetors, converted to 12v with battery in the trunk. steering was modified with a Ford F100 box and steers with one finger. Original 4 wheel mechanical brakes removed, and installed 1946-48 juice (hydraulic) drum brakes so it stops on a dime. Trans was changed to a Ford 1939 with syncro 2nd and 3rd gears, so no more grinding. It is lowered in the front on a dropped axle, and leaves removed, rear is lowered on a Model T spring. Wheels are 16” steelies, tires are 5.00-16 Firestone dirt tracker front, 7.50-16 Firestone rear. All lights and horn work, and it is a blast to drive. no structural rust, but has a few “character” bumps. Tile is in my name, registered as collector. Open to trade, just let me know what you have.
