....coulda kicked me in the face while bobwop pulled away with my pride and joy on his trailer headed for Wisconsin. I have faith in him. For the 1st time, The Beater is gonna be at The Hunnert Car Pileup. So...I'm gonna need pics.
Bob, Glad to meet the new caretaker of my hot rod. It was my first real hot rod. Glad it has good new home.

It sounds like its gone to a good home. You should be proud of that car. Hope you can get another project going real soon.

I am proud. Bob told me that I "...represented myself very well. It's a very well constructed car." That made me feel good. He appreciated all the work that went into the rebuild and the work previously done when it was originally on the road. He's a really good guy and I'm glad he has one of my cars.

Pete, I felt a little sad when the tub went but I figured there was something else out there waiting for me.
Have any ideas of what you're gonna do next? I got a nice '41 Plymouth coupe looking for a home. :D

Hey Mike, can you get silk suits in Pete's size (boys medium), and hats with feathers in them?:D

That is the first thing Pete is looking for, with every Cadillac starts a new business venture... his pimp hand is strong!

Pete, Does the term "kiss my ass " come to mind. You'll do just fine with the Caddy and the "GIRLS" (do any of these clowns know you have three to keep happy?) will enjoy the room when you travel. Just as soon as you get the Briggs and Stratton 3 1/2 hp installed so you can afford the gas The fun will begin.:)

Jdubbya suggested 'BLYFLOP'. Might become known as 'The Belly Flop'. Geez, this thingis a magnet. Had 4 offers to sell it from guys at the dealership. Guess I have good taste(?).

Pete: I'm having fun customizing the Beater to my taste and finishing up some details. As I told you on the phone, the ignition switch crapped out in the start position. We ran a hot line to a pushbutton switch that fit perfectly between the gauges and ran a line back to the solenoid. Grabbed some juice from that same hot line to power up that way bright fog lamp. Got all the chassis satin black and the pipe hot paint silver. You'll like my new battery cover. I bought a two gallon gas can and cut the bottom off. I very tightly slips over the battery and cables. Looks like it belongs there, protects the battery and it only cost $8. Tomorrow, we work on installing the sending unit for the heat gauge.

I don't fit for shit, so I need a die and some old age to shrink me. 6'4" and 240 makes for a tight squeeze in the Beater.

I loved the photos of the Caddy. Glad my cash helped you finish up the purchase and make it yours. Hope you doll it up nice and you and girls enjoy the ride. I would like to suggest you call it LWDWNCAD. Unlike yourself, a Low Down Cad
