Picked up at an estate sale of an old mechanic. Appears to be new old stock that's been sitting on the shelf for a good many years. The instruction sheet is discolored, the box is shelf worn, and fitting "A" is missing. All other parts are there. I put it in the freezer for a few minutes, then plugged it in, and it started getting hot, so I unplugged it, as there was no water going through it. The instructions say 1978. Part number 8700389, 1000 watts, 120 volts and made in the USA. The box says that it Fits any liquid-cooled engine...cars, trucks, tractors, busses. Summer-like starting on winter's coldest days and nights. Helps reduce engine wear caused by "cold-oil starts" and condensation. You pay actual shipping cost.
