For Sale: 1940 Ford deluxe, this is a rock solid, extremely dependable, old style hotrod. The body originally came from California approximately 6 years ago, and was completely restored in Oklahoma in 2010. I have driven the car about 11000 miles with no problems what so ever, I just recently drove to Wichita KS about 7hrs one way, on a weekend road trip, this is a great road car and you can take the whole family comfortably. Check out the partial list of the parts used to restore the car: Rebuilt 350ci Chevy adapted to the original 3 speed transmission and original 40 rear-end. Nicely detailed engine compartment, with all new parts. The transmission was completely rebuilt this spring with all new parts including the clutch and throw-out bearing. The rear-end was also completely rebuilt during restoration and new 3:25 gears were added for better highway speeds. All new gl***, including windshield, rear gl*** and all side gl***es and vents. It has all new gaskets and seals for the gl***, doors, and trunk, the hood bumpers are new and the cowl vent has a new gasket. All rubber products are from Bob Drake. It has new window fuzzies as well. New brakes all around including master cylinder, wheel cylinders, and shoes. New dual exhaust front to rear. New tube shocks on all 4 corners. New Magnum dropped axle with a stock spring and un split wishbones. New reversed eye spring on the rear with Pure Hotrods lower shock mounts New Tanks brand gas tank and new electric fuel pump Rebuilt steering box New and original trim, new trunk handle and lock, new grille, and new bumpers 1950’s F1 15 inch wheels with new tires fronts: 15x5 with 165/80/15 and rears are 15x5 ½ with 225/75/15 New 1940 Deluxe Hubcaps and trim rings. All new interior in an original style and all in excellent condition. Newport Engineering electric wipers, all new dash knobs, new after market gauges, all new 12 volt wiring system, new 1940 Ford deluxe steering wheel.
