I purchased a 1950 Ford 8BA Flathead engine and this transmission and bell housing were attached to it. I am going with a more traditional build using a '39 transmission so this set up is excess to my needs. I do not want to ship, so local pickup here in Southern California is the best option.

Below is an excerpt from the original ad from the PO talking about the transmission setup.

Transmission:
-1972 Ford toploader
-Converted to top-shift via Jeep shift tower
-Uses rare 1953 1/2 Mercury cast bellhousing to adapt it to fit the 8BA

I removed the transmission and bell housing today. I included a couple of pictures of the transmission attached to the flathead. The engine is NOT included. The PO stated that the internals of the transmission are in great shape. He went through the transmission and was ready to drop the engine/transmission into a project. He sold his project and I purchased the engine/trans combo for my AV8 build.

Price SOLD for the trans/bell housing combination. Let me know if you have any questions. Also including a pressure plate, new clutch and starter plate. Will add the pictures in a second post.

Bump to the top with a price drop. Was $1000 and now $700. Adding pictures of now included pressure plate, clutch and starter plate. Clutch and pressure plate is a 9 1/2 inch setup.
