1963 Fairlane hardtop, Jr. Stock/Superstock style car - PROJECT. It has a 351w, 4-speed toploader (HEH-E), 1957 Ford 9 inch rear end (details below). Car currently does not run - Needs to be finished. I pulled the 289 I had in there to replace with a 351w, got everything set in and wired/plumbed, COVID hit, then I got deployed with my Army Reserve unit and after some time away from it I want to move on to another project. I've owned this car since 2014. Prior to starting the engine swap I drove it on a regular basis. My wife and I drove it from Baltimore to Maine and back as well as to Ocean City a number of times and around Maryland/Pennsylvania. The 351w has had some port work to it and includes everything in the picture. The cam is unknown, has ERSON roller rockers, factory valves. Needs exhaust manifolds. Milodon deep oil pan. The battery is relocated to the trunk and has a safety cut-off switch. The transmission is a narrow pattern Ford 4-speed toploader (code HEH-E) with Hurst Competition shifter which is mated to the 351w with a Lakewood scatter shield. It has a brand new, zero miles center force diaphragm dual friction clutch, and SFI-approved billet steel flywheel. The car has stock front suspension, Caltrac traction bars, Calvert Racing split-mini leaves in the rear. The rear end is from a 57 ford and I rebuilt it with new bearings, seals, Dutchman axles, and a 3.89 mini-spool. The rear tires are pie crust cheater slicks, front tires are almost new firestone pizza cutters. There is rust in the floor pan and rust in the front radiator support that needs attention. The torque boxes are all solid. Trunk is solid, and structural areas are all solid. the paint is OK. A real 10-foot paint job. Interior likewise. Could use some attention. Asking 8,000. Clean title. Cash only. Contact me to set up a time to view it and I can give you more details if interested. Located in Baltimore City. You will need a trailer as it doesn't run. 410-961-6222.
