Replace your late 40's 59A cast iron flatheads with Edelbrock script aluminum heads. The pictures show some broken fins and minor erosion around some water passages, neither affects performance. The L and R are just to show front and back, they can go on either side. A straight-edge across the heads shows no warping. Spark plug holes have been chased and are very serviceable. The dark areas on the threads are left over gasket sealer. The heads were on my 8BA and everything was fine until I put the 4 bbl carb on and the rubber outlet hose laid up against the electric choke and worse, the carb linkage. If you have a 4 bbl, they won't work. But for single, dual or triple carbs, they're fine. Included are two heads, new FelPro head gaskets, 48 grade 8 bolts and washers, brand new Speedway rubber hose connectors, stainless steel water pipes, 180 thermostats, hose clamps and new NGK sparkplugs. Every thing you need to do the swap. Can also be used on an 8BA (49-53) with appropriate plugs in the block and one head. Would prefer pick up but will ship on your dime.
