Up for sale is ONE vintage DAKA-WARE black gear shift knob. This is for the knob only.







This is a really nice 100% vintage item - real DAKA-WARE gear shift knob.

Universal fit to many vehicles. Installation requires buyer's vehicle to have a 1/2"- 13 thread gear shift stick (note: tap installed into shift knob in photos is to demonstrate the solid threads; tap not included).

Item is in good condition, smooth to the touch with NO cracks, NO chips, & barely any wear marks as is shown in photos.
***First photo does show a very fine scratch just to left of center in photo. This could probably be polished out or easily ignored. Felt the need to point it out just to be completely up front regarding condition.***

This knob reads, "DAKA-WARE CHICAGO MADE IN U.S.A." on the bottom-side around the threaded opening.

Measurements: Approximately 1-7/8" outside diameter (as viewed from the top) Approximately 1 - 3/4" height (as viewed from the side.)

Color is BLACK.

Historical note: Daka-Ware was the brand name for products produced by Davies Molding starting in 1933 (Chicago). Known as a phenolic molder, Davies manufactured numerous parts including knobs, handles, as well as custom molded products.
