Have an aluminum Ford style banjo center section with small aluminum inspection cover on back part of housing. Dimensions on front where torque tube would attach and also side bells are same as a Ford style V8 quick change. I have tried google and can't come up with anything like this. Only markings are the name "SOLECTRIA" cast into the sides of the front part of the housing. Have you ever seen or heard of one of these? Who made them? What was their purpose? Approximately when were they made? Any idea how many were made? Thanks for any information or input you may have. SUNP0027.JPG SUNP0028.JPG SUNP0029.JPG SUNP0030.JPG SUNP0027.JPG SUNP0028.JPG

It would appear to be part of a ev conversion package. Google up 'Wolf tronix' .

    WOW! Now there's a disappointment.
But then, if you build a full banjo rear out of it, you can give any story you want.

Looks kind of weird, maybe some kind
of quick change gear setup. I don't see
    a counter shaft though.
