I've checked the catalogs and all I seem to find are chrome setups or black and chrome sets. I'm running coilovers for the ride and not for the look, so I'm trying to avoid the real flashy setups. So any leads on solid black coilovers would help!

    Thanks

  2. black powdercoat should fix you up. it's tough stuff.

  3. I have 4 of them from a Jag rear suspension. You can have them for $20.00 plus shipping.

Yeah, you can get them. I can't remember who right this second but they are out there. I wanted the same thing but I ended up just getting what was cheaper. You'll never seen them on my car, so I didn't worry about it. I did get black springs though. Aluminum body.

Try Art Morrison out of Fife Washington. Black springs with paint-able (and replaceable) shocks.

The east coast may be kind of far from you, but there is a place called Lindblad Chassis in MA whom I have dealt with. Phone 508-234-8283

    Thanks for the input fellas!

SJFAST- Funny you should mention the jag shocks because that's what I have, however they just don't seem like there going to be long enough for my application.

As far as powder coating goes, I know the stuff is fairly strong but I've never seen it applied to moving parts like a spring. Definently something to consider. Thanks.

  9. Last article I read said to avoid powder coat for springs.
You can get what you want from a roundy round dist like

    Port City Racing
    3011 Mill Rd
    Muskegon, MI. 49444
    800 472 2464

You'll need to know how heavy you want the springs, and eye to eye length.
If you call they'll send you a catalog. Lotsa drooling stuff if you're into go fast.

Last stuff I ordered from them took 3 days to KC.
