Customs Sombreros question for shoebox guys

Hey there, guys,

Hope you'll forgive my ignorance, but I'm wondering if any of you have ever had clearance problems on 1949-1951 Ford cars, running Cadillac sombreros on all four wheels.

Note: when I say sombreros, I mean the first series, 1947 or 1948 to 1952, I believe--either the 15-inch or 16-inch variety.

I'm wondering if you've ever had rubbing problems, either on the inside of the quarter panel, or the fender lip.

Reason I ask is, the "hat" part looks pretty tall.

i threw one on mine and had no prob man just was not the right look for me

 

No rubbing.

 

I had 50 sombreros on mine and no problem at all
