Awesome. I would check you local craiglist too. S****pers have started to post on there. With any luck you could put an add on there for a large piece. Wait until someone replies, tell them they can pick it up and ask what they drive so you can keep an eye on when they get to your place. Easy way to find out what vehicle they have, before giving your address.

Craigslist is great, but now you have a good description of who probably took your stuff. I say either call or go back to the s****yards, they're likely to remember a yellow truck with spray paint all over it, and if they're regulars maybe they drop stuff off the same time each week. All the guys that are gathering stuff up for a living around here drive the ****piest and most memorable pickups I've ever seen, so if this is the same kind of thing I think you could track them down! It's getting desperate out there...

When I was moving last time someone kicked in my door and stole all of my rifles that belonged to my great grandfather. I ****ing hate thieves! I'd call all of the s**** yards and put an ad in the paper. Maybe if a fellow rodder sees it they'll let you know.

Reminds me of the time I had a '34 Chevy and a '35 Chevy PU spread all over my Dad's parking lot in Pacific Beach.

An old guy with the most beat-to-#$%^ truck and trailer stops and says, "I been watchin' you brother, and I want all yo s****".....he took off in a relatively big hurry as the verbal fireworks ensued...

...hope you get your stuff back....

    Dude I feel for you
I live in an apt and have nowhere to store extra parts
Except in or around my car
That said some late night metal s****pers grabbed my much needed
Extra tail gate-doors-hood-front fenders and steering box
These parts were pinned between the wall and my 52 Willys Wagon
Car is in park e-break is on wheels are chucked
They dragged the car away from the wall grabbed what they wanted
Then shoved the car back against the wall leaving two holes created by my head lights
    That I had to repair

My friend had a Muncie 4 speed stolen out of the back of his truck while he was in the parts store. The next day I put an ad on craigslist "Wanted Muncie 4 speed - will pay $500"

About 4 days after posting the ad, I get a call. I go look... BINGO

I tell the guy I'll take it and I'll get the money out of my truck. He was surprised when I returned with a baseball bat. After a cell phone call to the local police, the dumb *** got a free ride to jail.

Lucky my friend had stamped his SS# on the case & tailshaft housing.
