History Some history from a local speed shop

Bummer

 

I talked to Brad at Rocco & Cheaters yesterday and a fellow from Florida came in and hauled off 5 trailer loads of stuff, including every shifter that was there. I got his number and called to ask about some specific parts, and he said he hasn't had a chance to go through everything to see what he had. He does swap meets across the country and mentioned he would be in the L. A. area around Christmas. At least, someone got the stuff who has the money and knowledge to deal with it. It will be on the market soon.

 

There was probably a wheel barrow full of just shifter rods there at one time.

When I was there a month ago, there was a complete NOS Hurst 4 speed shifter for a Corvette, several Mystery Shifters, Spark-o-matics, Foxcraft and so on. Now, they're all in Florida.

 

Well that's a lot better than in the s****.

 

Cruised by for a bit yesterday.
Picked up some 4 NOS spider rings and 2 caddy caps. Rings are 9 inch so should fit small mopar wheels.
the place was cleaned out a good bit. Still tons of ****. No word on the fate of remaining inventory.
