    Just to tag onto this thread...how to friction shocks work exactly?
    From pressure on what looks like to discs? I'm interested after seeing your photos for a funky custom bicycle fork I'd like to build

    i got the wood kit from CW Moss, i forgot the name of the company that made the kit, its been so long since i took it out of the box. it looked like it would be really easy to install, but since my body had no subframe or any of the structural wood when i got it, it was twisted any way out of wack, so it took me the better part of a day to get everything lined up and installed

    the color is called sail blue, its a Semi-Gloss paint

    i got the friction shocks from speedway, the more you tighten the bolt the more pressure you put on the plate, more pressure = more friction, more friction = stiffer ride. probably going to take alot of tuning to get the ride just right but some times you have to make sacrafices :D
