Went out for one of our runs where we hunt for cars around the island. We left at 9 in the morning and drove all day only stopped to look at all the stuff..never got home till around 9 that night!! Covered alot of ground and found alot of stuff but came across alot of 70s stuff so I wont talk about that here!! lol. Found the remain of a a few early 50s f100.the motor and frame was a cool find the cabs were very ruff and not much to save.. Found a 58 Caddy that was just pulled out of a shed and was a good project car..working on finding out what the deal is with it..is it for sale and how much.Looked at a this 52 Ford agian..been watching this for years and can never get it .guy keep giving us the run around on it..dont think he want to sell it but love to talk about it.. The car is complete but the body is ruff..roof is rusted real bad.. But it runs like a top! found a couple of early 60s merc. guy want these gone but Not my kind of car.. the T bird they had in the garage was both a work bench and a shelf!! sad..

There's a guy about 5 miles from me using a '62 T-Bird in the same way. A real head scratcher.

Well I been saying I was not going to buy anymore projects after I got rid of most of mine but I have a soft spot for a shop truck project!!and heard about a 53 GMC that was cheep.. well the truck is so call complete.meaning all the sheet metal parts are there!! it needed work but what made me walk away from it was the front clip..it was a front for a big truck! Not what Im after..so I was a good boy and never dragged home another peice of junk!! looked at this Pontiac finally after knowing it was there for over 20 years! agian ruff but good parts car..

If i'm not mistook that f-1 chassis has a car style topload 3spd behind it, pretty much the same as a '39 car box but with a open drive and a different gear split, check to see if it is, they are pretty desireable

That Caddy is SWEET!! I can't imagine
there were too many of those sold new
on 'the Rock' back in '58, so the car
    probably had some prestigious owner
and there's likely some history behind
    it.
