You talking about the Roundup in Austin, Texas? Because I'm pretty sure nothing gets turned away. Rat rods have been a huge part of the show since my 1st one in '04. My buddy commented Saturday about how there was a lot less of them this year, he noticed.
Yes. Sorry if I offended. I guess the term Rat has to be qualified as to mean the most obvious cars built in this style. My car is in primer for what it's worth. I'm speaking of some that had not only rust etc, but also some seriously dangerous backyard engineering.
I wasn't offended. It's just that the LSRU lets everything in. Rat rods galore at the riverside park back in the old days. Tons of 'em every year at the current venue. Throw out them & the billet wheeled ones, easter egg colored ones, & the newer than '63 ones, & it'd be a lonely show. LOL I was pretty disheartened with the late models this year.
I look forward to the day that these hillbillies stop destroying useable cars with their stupid, over the top, "designed to impale or induce lockjaw" styling "ray-at rawd".
