just unbelievable, each photo feels like it has its own soul dont worry about the some of the bad critiques they just cant see it
I still shoot film, most of the time, so keep it up. Your passion reflects in the photos. Your work is nice.
As said previously.....the shots are simply awesome and I appreciate that there is minimal p'shop. Yes the technology is there and hell, I colour touch on ACDSee. Was just saying that my teacher said that the more composition set up in the camera and not after....the better. I believe that the photographic world is more the better because of what is available at our fingertips, but it should never undermine the talents of a true photographers eye. And from what I see...logobuick is a true photographer learning the art....just like me and millions of others out there with their DSLRs in hand.
1940-sorry? no problem,but...i'm only 39 yrs young and sometimes i find abbreviating faster/easier and i didn't know we were here for grammar class, sorry. I've always written in the same manner as i would speak it(when it wasn't neccessary to be proper). And he did ask for opinions. constructive criticism is how it should b taken. i,myself,am still learning-so i don't know all, just like to share what i may if it helps. there are somethings he could do to make those photos better. there's always more that i could do to mine, also. for instance, the b+w of the pass.side of the car=lose the house door behind it. ones eye gets drawn along the car to the door and it becomes a distraction. okay,so,maybe my foto skills are pretty good, but me engrish aren't. thats a good 'ol catholic ed. for ya. I will work on my word and typing skills. I promise.
xpletiv, I am not qualified to give grammar lessons. I was just stating my observation and from your post, I assumed that you were much younger. I guess that is the point. If I were in human resources and you sent in an application typed like that, it would go straight to the basket. If you check my post, I said it all in a respectful way and it makes no difference to me whether you type well. Thanks for respondiong.
1940-no,no,no,no,no. I don't mean to be disrespectful, either. I'm too accustomed to "texting" on a phone where one has to cram as much information in as possible in an allotted space. Also,I view forums as people talking to each other and not as a formal gathering(sorry, you know, just hanging out). An application filled out in that manner should be put to the flame. One more thing...I wish I was younger. Life moves way too fast.
I like the pics man, and I'm glad you started the thread. I've learned a little about photography just from the responses...and I can always use more learnin'. Keep it up, really dig the one with the train and the wagon.
cool pics man....what camera are you using? i shot some b/w too in my albums. you certainly managed to find some cool stuff to share.
wow. thanks to everyone for the comments. im always eager to hear opinions and learn anything i can. i like to take the pictures as if there is symbolism and a message in them. i really enjoy having them rugged and somewhat ugly in there own sense, yet beautiful at the same time. i do use a color touch up and contrast adjust that came with my hp laptop when i bought it, but thats all. as far as the camera i use, im pretty sure its the cheapest cannon digital they make. i like to think its not as much the camera as what the photographer does with it. anyhow if anyone has any more questions feel free to message me. again i very much appreciate the opinions. thank you.
You definitely have a great eye through camera lenz....very talented....I love B & W Stills.....keep up the great work....I see a very cool car calender in your near future
The shot of the Buick is now my desktop wallpaper. I don't know much about photography, but they sure look good to me.
i do have some more pictures but there is no cars in them its a lot of buildings and landscaped. i will put them up if wanted but dont want to piss anyone off. so let me know and ill post them. or not.
nice shots man they really look good ............. what type of camera and are you using digital or film?
Nice work. The Buick and Train shot is a great one. I've taken probably 5000 photos of cars and don't have even one that looks that good.
