but lower and no concrete block parking brake.
IMG_8918.jpeg I don’t need more crap to fix.
The custom cab isn’t for sale. Owner needs a center post finished for a crew cab conversion on a 57 f100. (Can’t post pics, has modern components) and the rear doors hinged and opening.
He has enough pieces to make a mostly complete truck. I have some of the other pieces.
he also does sheet rock work and I need some of that at home.
Might be a win win. The wife wants the sheet rock work done and I need another project to sit in the yard.

I’ve hauled stuff in there, never anything out. Good folks the ones I’ve dealt with.

  4. I’ve hauled out way too much
I’m just a few blocks up the road. Visit regular. Picked up a 69 dated 396 intake for $5 once.
They gave me a pair of finned SBF valve covers.
The last pieces they sold me by weight. Loaded up the beater on the trailer, weighed out, weighed in with the leftovers.
I’ve loaded up a couple and brought back to the shop to pull engines and transmissions. Then bring the body back.

if you got the time to take it apart and sell every usable part on eBay there is some good money in that Pontiac.

did a 51 and 53 Chevy 4 door and a 1960 El Camino 15 years ago, prices have tripled since then had over $9,000 in sales

The Pontiac is definitely a candidate for rescue. Chevrolet rockers and floor pan are readily available and will work on a Pontiac.

  16. I gotta say, I was VERY hesitant to open this thread based on its title alone ... fully expected to see a "full frontal" picture of some geezer taking a whiz in the forest :eek:o_O:confused:

Come to think of it, I have no idea why I eventually did open it ... :(
