Berzerk, hope you don't mind but these photos are so cool I spent some time cleaning them up for you. I know you have a sentimental attachment so thought you might like to save them touched up a bit. Being sad is perfectly normal but you should be proud and happy that your Dad and Uncle had such cool times together, glad you chose to celebrate their lives by sharing these with us. http://i614.photobucket.com/albums/tt223/hotrd32/HAMB%20Stuff
That last pic is by far my favorite, I love seeing old pics like these.....thank you for sharing them
Man, that Deuce roadster Lowboy has got some MONEY in it. Flat GORGEOUS. And I love the flames on the dark sedan. We're so lucky to have had Dads like that. Mine is always live and vibrant in my mind, and always will be.
Really great pics, thanks for sharing. Your dad has also done something for us. His pictures have given us another look back at the real deal.
What a great bunch of pictures to see thanks for sharing them. Proofs in the pixs! The look on your Dads face in those is that happy satisfied hot rodder one...great.
Great pics thanks for sharing them with us! Any more pics of the business coupe with the Plymouth rear bumper?
Is this the same truck that was chopped later on.I knew your uncle and am soo glad you are finishing it for him.A friend of mine is the one who just painted the roadster for you.
thanks for sharing your pics.looks like you come from true hotroddin family.looks like that alley behind grandmas house was the place to be, back in the day!!!
The 59 Apache was my dad's Tom Ziegert, and yes it was later chopped. I am trying to find it to buy it back. The Roadster was my Uncle's, Jerry Ziegert and I am working on it now.
That was my Uncles Business Coupe. I am looking for more pics of it. Really don't know to much about it, they only mentioned it once or twice. I do know that it had a big (for the time) Flat Head in it that my Uncle switched from car to car as he bought and sold...
Few more... Our 32 at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds (I think?). Another shot in the Sixties... Getting a little newer, but I loved this car, my Dad's Avanti. It was a little ugly, but man was it fast...
