    and posted pics on the HAMB, and I neglected to save the pics. They were for a SBC, and if my memory is correct the car was a 32 Ford.

    Can any-one direct me to the thread please?

    Cheers

    I'm with you, I don't know what C.I. lookalike headers are either.

    Cubic Inches?
    Cowl Induction?
    Catatonic Idiot?

    Gawd I hate being a new guy that doesn't know the lingo...

    Catatonic Idiot - now thats out of left field!!!

    C.I. = Cast Iron, as in C.I. power-glide, C.I. Fenton Headers, etc etc. ;D

  8. Dude, are you simply asking, "Has anyone chrome plated cast iron headers?"

    (Maybe we do have a language difference).

    **** I hate the lingo when theres a difference in the way we express ourselves:(

    Try again:-

    There was a 32 ford with a Small Block Chev in it, The guy who built it made a set of Chromed headers that were very similar looking to the Fenton CAST Iron headers that were available for a SBC in the day.

    He commented that they were a lot of work - grinding and welding, in responmse to many people commenting on how good they looked.

    I'd like a link or a picture of the headers, as I am fabricating a set like them for my Stovebolt six.

    Thanx, and sorry for the confusion.

    Just beautiful.....the car will be outrageous when finished if the entire build-up goes like the header-fab job. I love stuff like this.
