Some one was asking about a manifold like this?

Who is this someone? Plus, the aluminum spacer stuff, looking glob between the carburetors and the small block Ford engine do nothing for the looks of that nice gray '32 pictured.

 

Maybe they are for the uninitiated viewers at car shows who only see 3 carburetors.

 

It's easy.
But easy rarely produces awesome results.

 

What I want to know is what the f#@k is that critter on the wall!

It does not seem that most know the Evolution/History of HotRodding or Speed parts,
There was a time you needed Multi carburetors, now you can have a single carb of 2,000cfm's.
Multi carbs have there place,
If thats not pretty much stock low hp 289/302 its under cfm, Im sure the carbs are less then 200 cfm each.

 

@sdluck , what’s the back story on why someone was looking for the intake? Was it just for a 2 duece for a Ford W engine, or that specific intake?

 

Somebody posted a picture of a similar intake manifold and was asking some questions about it.

Umm, shouldn't the picture be posted in the thread where someone asked about it, rather than in a new thread that someone might not even see?

 

May have been months ago, etc. SD probably thought easier (as would I) to make a new thread than run through a 3 day search to find an old thread.
