After last years test run i had a hole list of things to do to the coupe during the winter. Should have been finished 2 months ago but things got in the way. Still some small stuff to finish but i am quit happy for now. Gotta start driving it before winter is back. The major change is the motor and gearbox. Last year i had a yunkyard 350 and a 3 speed. Now i have got a built 350 and a 4 speed. I bought a 3 carb setup but they didn´t work for shit so i got 3 new strombergs. Worked great straight out of the box. Got a new insert and some paint. The silver looks alot better than the black firewall i had last year. The wife thinks the best update is the new interier. All i had last year was a 2 seats. I wanted a bench seat but because of the tunnel it didn´t work out, im to tall. So i went somewhere in between. You can never get to much vinyl flake Still got to get the piece for the tunnel done. Im getting all new carpet for the floor but it´s not quit ready yet. Hopefuly after that i can put alot of troublefree miles on it now. Thanks for looking.
Very cool car- the interior is killer! Looks like it's put together very well. What happened to the roof? It looks a little high.....
Very NICE ''A'' Man,sits nice and low.like the interior very much, the seat looks a bit like the one I made for my ''A''.Once again NICE job.
Turned out great. The rifle-case shift knob and pedals are pretty slick. -Lee Atomic Radio www.atomicpinup.com
Very very nice coupe i love everything about it. even not having it chopped is a great look. different in a good way.
Thanks everyone. When i first started i was going to chop it but i changed my mind because i liked how it looked. With the extra headroom its great to drive to. The steering box is out of a 73 or 74 VW buss/transporter. Its has a cool aluminium case.
