I got my motor mounts built and the firewall cut off my gastank and clamped in place but I'm not sure what to do for my front end.I have a stock a front end and also a 37 truck front end and bendix brakes from a 48 F1, so should I use the 37 axle bones and splindles or the A axle I want to have the spring over the axle or maybe behind but I don't have much more dough to spend on the front.Eventually I want to get a drop axle but not yet.Any help would be great.
i you dont want to run a suicide front then run the 37 it has a little more drop then the A axle you can also buy a spring to run over it for pretty cheap the only thing is that it is wider I cut my horns and ran a suicide perch with spring behind with a 37 axel it looks great and was very buget freindly no need for a droped axel
Thanks slazzen I have been watching your project I wasn't sure about motor mounts till I saw yours.What spring did you use? I could use my A spring behind the axle like yours I suppose but I do want to keep my horns.Anyone else?
