My condonlences on the loss of your folks, thats a tough one...
I lost my Dad unexpectedly in 2020 & it really took the wind out of my sails.
My plans this year are to continue getting my shop organized and selling off excess parts and projects I dont need.
Hopefully get my shit together & make it to LSRU & The Roc & see some friends Ive been missing.

  2. Survival... not commit any felonies... get this pickup ready to drive down to Bowling Green in June... and depending on the success of my new shop, possibly retire from the fire service in August.

Sorry for the loss of your parents, I dread the thought.
Also noticed your are in South King County.

Every year, I set goals. And around the week after Christmas and before New Years, I review last years goals. Some items I cross off the list. Others, I push forward into the new year. And some items become irrelevant with time.
This year is what people who follow sports call “A rebuilding year”. Lol.
2023 was both amazing AND rough. So, I guess I am optimistic about 2024.

The ‘52 Ford will get some love. I have plans, and have already been knocking items off the punch list.
I just moved my ‘63 F100 into The Shop, for some rust repair, panel and fab work. Will start phase 2 after the metal work.
I also have a couple “Off Topic” old cars that need things.
And will continue to downsize my “Hoarding” issues (car parts that is…).
    Outside of CARS…
Watching my grown kids develop into Men. And my oldest is becoming a car fanatic in his own right.

I am putting effort into my new job. Been working on being more positive about getting up and heading to a “Job” everyday.
Like they say: “Keep your day job, until your night job pays”.
Also, will probably make another trip to Japan this year. Been trying to establish some roots there.

Finally, been really working on peace and happiness after years of self destruction.

Wishing everyone an outstanding New Year!
